Introduction to the API

Basic introductory information about how to make the most of our API.

The Content Villain API is organized around REST. Our API has predictable resource-oriented URLs, accepts form-encoded request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.

This API documentation, API and Content Villain itself has been created without code. We are a strong believer in pushing the boundaries of what is possible and love to experiment with all of these tools. As the API documentation is made by a non coder, we want it to be easy to use for everyone.
